Overview

THE CALL OF THE WILD strikingly brings to the screen the tale of Buck, a big-hearted canine whose joyful local life is flipped around when he is out of nowhere removed from his California home and transplanted to the outlandish wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest trainee on a mail delivery hound sled group – and later its guide – Buck encounters an amazing experience, eventually discovering his actual place on the planet and turning into his own master.
